The Global Partnership for Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit, which gathers more than 130 delegates and 1,000 experts from around the world, was officially opened in the Palace of Serbia

The discussions focus on political approaches to unlocking the transformative potential of artificial intelligence, fostering international cooperation, and building ecosystems that promote ethical, inclusive, and sustainable innovation. This event marks the largest international gathering in our country since the 60th anniversary celebration of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade. Serbia has assumed the GPAI presidency from India.

The Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) is a leading international organization dedicated to the development, implementation, and regulation of artificial intelligence. The organization was founded in 2020, and Serbia became a member two years later.

At the opening of the Summit, attendees were addressed by Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, President of the National Assembly Ana Brnabić, and Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Mathias Cormann.
